Guitar Macro by W-Uno Guitar Macro by W-Uno
I enjoy macro photography very nearly (not quite!) as much as selective colouring (see rant for Guitar). I don't get around to it that often.

Why?

Simple, macro photography, except where it applies to insects and other such things, generally requires you to see something interesting in something you see every day. I lucked out, in this case, because when I was preparing to take the shot that was actually in my head (I once more direct you to Guitar) I was zoomed in way too far and just noticed this one.

T'was the work of but a second to snap it, and farbeit from me to ignore a shot once I see it.

Well, almost. On account of this being a yamaha guitar it's actually just floyd rose style. Floyd Rose is a brand, you see.

Nah, floyd rose style. It says "Licensed Under Floyd Rose Patents" across it.

Composing... I wish. At the moment I'm just practicing because I suck. So I've been playing around with scales and fingering exercises (read: 1 fingering exercise).

I really like the composition. It may be simple, but you've nailed how to make things like this special. The tones and the light are really wonderful, somehow. What was the light source?
